Review Procedure
The procedure for reviewing articles submitted to the journal follows the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science. By submitting an article for publication, authors consent to the review process. Submitted articles undergo a formal assessment by the Editorial Board and are then evaluated by two reviewers who are not members of the journal’s Editorial Board, who hold at least a postdoctoral degree (doktor habilitowany), and who are not employed by the institution publishing the journal. Submitted articles are never sent to reviewers affiliated with the same institution as the author. Manuscripts are reviewed anonymously — the author does not know the identity of the reviewers, and the reviewers do not know the identity of the author (the so-called „double-blind review”). Each article is assigned an editorial number identifying it at the subsequent stages of the publishing process. The author is informed of the outcome of the review procedure. The list of reviewers is published in the journal once a year (every four issues).
Editorial Guidelines for Authors
The text should be prepared in the Word text editor and provided with in-text citations formatted in accordance with the American Psychological Association standard (current edition). Before the bibliography, include an Author Contributions section, detailing the contributions of individual authors. In the case of a single-authored work, individual contributions should be declared. We recommend using the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) standard. By submitting an article to the journal, the author consents to its publication on the PRESSto platform. The author is also required to sign and submit, together with the text, the following documents: Agreement in English.
Submissions
To submit your manuscript, please use the PRESSto platform or contact the secretary. There is no publication fee.
Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-Assisted Technologies
In accordance with COPE guidelines, artificial intelligence tools (such as Large Language Models – LLMs) do not meet the criteria for authorship and cannot be listed as co-authors of a manuscript. Authors may utilize AI tools solely to improve the language or readability of the text, provided they maintain full accountability for the content and originality of the work. If AI technologies are used for data generation, statistical analysis, or creation of graphical elements, Authors are strictly required to disclose this fact transparently in the “Methodology” section or in a dedicated statement submitted with the manuscript (specifying the tool’s name, version, and purpose of use). Any attempt to conceal the generation of key sections of the text by AI will be treated as publication misconduct and may result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript at any stage of the editorial process.
