Studia Edukacyjne (ISSN: 1233-6688) is an interdisciplinary academic journal devoted to educational issues, indexed in the European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH Plus). It provides a forum for the constructive confrontation of diverse ways of perceiving and investigating social reality — a space for inter-paradigmatic and inter-discursive dialogue between representatives of differing theoretical and methodological positions. The debates conducted within the journal are intended to bring about a distinctive crystallisation of the most important dilemmas of the contemporary sciences of education, as well as of the relationship between upbringing and human identity. Studia Edukacyjne rejects any form of pedagogical orthodoxy; its aim is a broadly understood diagnosis of contemporary educational reality. We invite theorists and researchers from academic institutions in Poland and abroad to publish their articles, reviews, and reports in Studia Edukacyjne.

Review Procedure

The procedure for reviewing articles submitted to the journal follows the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science. By submitting an article for publication, authors consent to the review process. Submitted articles undergo a formal assessment by the Editorial Board and are then evaluated by two reviewers who are not members of the journal’s Editorial Board, who hold at least a postdoctoral degree (doktor habilitowany), and who are not employed by the institution publishing the journal. Submitted articles are never sent to reviewers affiliated with the same institution as the author. Manuscripts are reviewed anonymously — the author does not know the identity of the reviewers, and the reviewers do not know the identity of the author (the so-called „double-blind review”). Each article is assigned an editorial number identifying it at the subsequent stages of the publishing process. The author is informed of the outcome of the review procedure. The list of reviewers is published in the journal once a year (every four issues).

Editorial Guidelines for Authors

The text should be prepared in the Word text editor and provided with in-text citations formatted in accordance with the American Psychological Association standard (current edition). By submitting an article to the journal, the author consents to its publication on the PRESSto platform. The author is also required to sign and submit, together with the text, the following documents: Agreement in English.

Publication Ethics

The publication ethics of the Studia Edukacyjne journal is consistent with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Each manuscript is subjected to anti-plagiarism check using iThenticate.
